Here are some pictures E and I took today on my Panasonic DMC-ZS3. Love the quality of pics this digital point-and-shoot generates.

Snow!

Hanging out with the 'E' up in Truckee/Tahoe area today while all the others take to their snowboards and skis. I've apologized to 'E' in advance in case I'm cranky because I barely slept last night. It felt like it was 85 degree up in our room. He says "not to worry" about the crankiness. I'm going to be driving around with 'E' looking for places for him to take pictures for a project he's working on. I'm having feelings of nostalgia as I'm reminded of the days when I used to go all over the place with my dad while he took train pictures. I did a lot of waiting for dad -- first I'd wait while he found the right spot for the picture. Then I'd wait while he got the picture set up. Then I'd wait for the damn train to show up. Then we'd rush off to the next spot and do the same thing all over again.

I expect this won't be any different. After all, 'E's' got to get the right shots. But, I'm sure I'll enjoy hanging out with him -- as I did with my dad -- as long as I have a lot of caffeine to get me through the day.

Here's a shot he took of our yard here in Truckee. I dig the footsteps.


Tonight I hope I'll be able to sleep… figured out how to open the window in our room and this time I'll make sure the door is shut. If I don't get some shut eye tonight, I'll head home early. Because you know how cranky I get if I don't get my sleep!
