Aww... I wish I could really believe that here in Texas. My vote really counts when it comes to other elections like Judges and Sherrifs and other public office positions... but.. Presidential? Texas will always be a red state :(

But... I voted still... and maybe ... our state will turn blue ^.^

Awe, Joe, don't say always... there is always a chance Texas will get a clue. Okay, maybe it's a really slim chance, and it's not something I would, say, place a bet on, but it's okay to hold out a bit of hope... :-)

How in the Heck did we go red anyways? I mean, we were the outlaw state in the beginning. A place were people fled to escape the law. Kinda like England's Australia. When did we become conservative? Sheesh! lol Guess I'm just going to have to move over there. Tell me Snarff. How did the issue on Gay marriage go over there? I also heard about Prop K in San Fran. That was kinda intresting. What happened with that?

I don't think K passed. It was a bit of a wonky law. I'm all for legalizing prostitution but there still has to be a mechanism for stopping human sex trafficing. I had a tough time with this one... really torn.

As to Texas -- I bet they still think that Republicans = small gov't and staying out of your business. Not true. Until the wake up and realize that's not the case, we're stuck with it...

Prop 8 was close... maybe if we had waited a few more years this wouldn't have passed, but how can you ever know when the right time is. I just hope they take it to court as being against the US Constitution... though who knows how that would turn out... keep your fingers crossed that their efforts to nullify existing marriages fails.
